Crantini


This is the first winter cocktail I made. Deceivingly smooth. The secret is that it must be extremely cold.

Lots of people make a crantini, but mine has one key difference that leads to a more intense flavour.

Ingredients

(Makes 3)

1/4 cup Frozen Cranberry Concentrate. Not punch. (do not dilute)
4 oz vodka (stored in freezer)
1/2 oz Cointreau

Method

Place concentrate, vodka and Cointreau in shaker with ice, shake and strain into chilled Martin glass. Garnish with cranberries threaded onto cocktail pick.

Accompaniments

An assortment of hot and cold appetizers. Because, c'mon, you're serving this at your Christmas party, right?
