Burnt Orange Old-Fashioned



Ingredients

2 oz. Lot 40 Rye
1/4 oz Cointreau
Dash Angostura Orange Bitters
Slice of caramelized orange *

Method

Place ice cubes in cocktail glass. Pour rye and Cointreau over ice. Splash on the bitters. Garnish with slice of caramelized orange*

Salted nuts
Charcuterie

* Slice orange. Place slice on preheated nonstick frying pan until slightly blackened. Flip over to cook both sides. Drop into old fashioned glass while still hot, imparting a slightly smoky flavour to the drink.
